Founder and CEO
As Founder and CEO of Other Endeavors, Brad Crist relies on the business acumen and leadership skills he honed over a nearly 30-year management career to find and partner with some of the best small business owners in the United States. Brad maintains an active role in guiding the success of several small businesses, including TechTAC, a leader in downhole equipment for the oil and gas industry.
Prior to taking the helm at TechTAC and launching Other Endeavors, Brad spent 20 years as an executive at Savage, where he started as a business analyst and progressively advanced until he became President of the company’s Infrastructure Sector, managing the efforts of more than 3,000 employees. During his tenure, Savage grew from a domestic supplier of industrial services to a multi-billion-dollar organization with complex operations spanning the globe. Prior to Savage, Brad worked as a Consultant for Arthur Andersen Business Consulting. He is a graduate of The Wharton School of Business and Brigham Young University.
Head of business development
In his role as Head of Business Development for Other Endeavors, Shawn Dickerson leads the company’s marketing and sales efforts and is an advisor on marketing and sales strategy for the firm’s portfolio of companies, including TechTAC, a leader in downhole equipment for the oil and gas industry.
Prior to joining TechTAC and Other Endeavors, Shawn spent 25 years in marketing leadership roles within the high-tech industry at high-growth software companies like Workfront (acquired by Adobe for $1.5B), Domo (IPO in 2018) and KeyedIn. In addition, he has spent nearly a decade developing and executing the go-to-market, brand management and demand generation strategies for a wide variety of small businesses. It’s helping those small businesses and startups create a lasting growth strategy that Shawn enjoys the most. Shawn is a graduate of Brigham Young University.
